Lawless Creek VA Trials Event
Lawless Creek is back, and Berndie Lunsford and his cohort Bryce have set up new sections in the territory of Lawless Creek.

The Three Stooges Moto-Trial at Whale Rock returns for 2024! Thrill to a blend of new styles and challenge while having a bunch of fun.

The last event of the 2023 season is coming up in Madison heights, VA. All the usual classes: Expert, Advanced, Sportsman, Vintage Sporstman, Intermediate, Vintage Intermediate, and Novice.

Vintage Rust Bucket at Whale Rock (Bunn NC)
The Sixth annual highly informal and social RUST BUCKET VINTAGE TRIAL is OCTOBER 22nd.
Two or more vintage features required: Air Cooled, Drum Brakes, Twin Shocks
Natural terrain, two lines of difficulty (A line for Intermediate/Sportsman, B line rides nearly anywhere) carry your own card, all have fun.
$5 entry fee. This is not an official CVOTC event, no CVOTC or AMA membership is required.
No Trophies...just a fun time with your Rust Bucket!.

Whale Rock Trials presents "It's a New Year" Moto-Trial Sunday - RESCHEDULED to January 15th!
Signup at 10am, start the Trial at 11am, There will be PRIZES!, FOOD!, and FUN!
This competition will again be a "GATE TRIAL". In this event, the HIGH SCORE wins! Higher numbered gates earn you more points.... but don't put your foot down and lose your points! Motorcycle helmets and boots required! Every rider must sign waiver! Sorry, only Trials motorcycles allowed.

Ray Peters Trials Training
Ray Peters will be hosted by Kenny Gwyn (Mt. Airy NC) for a 2 day training class November 19-20. The fee is $275 and will include Kenny’s FAMOUS chicken stew dinner on Saturday night. Only 12 spots available.
Five beginner/intermediate spots are also available for those wanting training in the basics from Chris Buzelli (yes, of CVOTC fame and an excellent teacher as well).

Brushy Mountain
This is not a CVOTC event but all are invited to this fun trial weekend at Brushy Mountain Motorsports Park in Taylorsville, NC. CVOTC is just one of several regional clubs invited to come enjoy the facility’s first ever Trials event - with strong participation this may become another venue for future events.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTE: The single lane bridge on Iron Bridge Road is being renovated and it is not passable. If you’re coming off Rt 58 and heading south on Rt 46, drive past the normal left turn (Iron Bridge Road) and drive another 1 ½ mile. Turn hard left at the Brunswick Byways Visitor Center; that is the other end of Iron Bridge Road. Drive about 1+ miles, you’ll see a large white barn and white board fencing on the right. There you’ll make the right turn onto Reavis Gin Road. Trials site a short distance on the right.

WHALE ROCK WORK DAY AND BIRTHDAY PARTY. SEPT. 11th!

Ryan Young Trials School
The rumors are true, the Ryan Young training on June 4-5, 2022 has sold out! However, we all know Trials riders live complicated lives so someone might determine they can’t make it before the event. To get your name on the waitlist, please call or text Jim Ellis at 919-455-0984.
Six time National Trials Champion, and great Trials teacher, Ryan Young will be hosted by Jim Ellis at Whale Rock Trials (Bunn NC) for a two-day Trials Class on June 4th and 5th. The fee is $250 and the class is limited to 15 students. Payment, a check made to Jim Ellis, is due in advance to secure your spot. Class will start at 9am on each day, rain or shine. Primitive camping is available.

Come attend Trials Training Techniques for Intermediate Thru Expert level riders - with Expert Trials instructor Ray Peters. Cost is $225 per rider for Saturday and Sunday, must be paid in advance by check to secure your spot . Only 12 Spots Available. Since it is Easter weekend there is also a Saturday only option for those with Sunday commitments. This will be $150 for Saturday only (9am start).
